Hartenstein Airborne Museum is housed in a nineteenth century villa Hartenstein, which is the former headquarters of the British army, participating in the Battle of Arnherm, which took place in September 1944, during World War II.

The Museum shows the battle from the perspective of not only allies, but also German soldiers and civilians. The exhibition consists of a large collection of authentic weapons, uniforms, many videos and photos as well as unique Airborne Experience basement area of ​​900 m2, where visitors land in the middle of the battle.

A visit to the local museum is a unique, unforgettable history lesson.
