The right bank side of Warsaw has had so far not too many modern playgrounds for children. In recent times this has changed, especially after the revitalization of the park at Lake Balaton, located in Warsaw's Gocław.
The playground created here is a medium sized, fully fenced and well thought out place. In the swings area there's a soft surface cover, the rest is a kind of a giant sandbox.
The theme of the square are ships, which makes sense especially since the area is located next to the lake, where you can also swim on pedalos.
The playground is divided into zones for children of all ages. The youngest children can play, for example with machines to pour sand, equipped with buckets, or in a play house. Definitely there is a lack of special swings with back support for toddlers. The little older can climb the ropes web structures, climb one of the vessels, use the trampoline, or turn on on a rotating platform.
For parents benches are also provided. The disadvantage of the place is the small number of trees offering shade. The proximity of water also makes it also an ideal place for mosquitoes, so try to protect himself.
Outside the playground, at the other side of the lake, next to the cafeteria, there is a long water slide, beach volleyball, a waterfall, a small stream, the monument of the Independent Cat, there are also floating piers for fishing, and the road around the lake is a great place for runners.
The lake can also find vending machine with special food for ducks, under the slogan "The duck is not living from bread alone. Feed her the very best." Thing quite uncommon outside good zoos.
The grounds are very well maintained, let's hope that in the future all the infrastructure is adequately maintained.
Nearby there are free parking spaces.
