Medieval castle in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, for centuries protected the road from Germany to Wallonia.

Amazingly situated on a high rock, like any respectable castle has dungeons, guard towers and drawbridges. At the castle there is a bird of prey breed. During the tourist season, you can take part in a dressage-show of birds - we saw a hawk, and a snow owl.

The show is conducted only in French and Flemish.

An additional attraction is the opportunity to sail around the castle on the pedal boats on the river that surrounds three sides of the rock.

The town of Bouillon itself is small, but very nice.
