Castle Golub is aTeutonic fortress, where first modern European knights' tournaments were held.
Also, now, every year in July, there are great tournaments, during which you can watch knights fighting tournaments both on foot and horseback, shows of shooting cannos, and for the youngest, numerous competitions.
The castle also hosts a Museum, whose collections include: knights' armor and swords, replicas of medieval weapons, ancient tools, flags and coats of arms and historical painting. On the walls of the castle, you can also see the remains of Renaissance decoration - sgraffito, depicting mythological motifs.
In the castle cellars an exhibition of old Polish and Turkish weaponry is supposed to open soon.
Hypocaust furnace, torture chamber, horse stairs, hunger sows, infirmary are some other interesting rooms worth seeing here.
