Centre Georges Pompidou (also known as Beaubourg, Refinery) is located in the Beaubourg district. It houses the Museum of Contemporary Art (Musée National d'Art Moderne) and the main public library of the capital of France (Bibliothèque publique d'information).

The building is worth to be shown to children, because it looks very interesting - all the plumbing was taken outside and painted in different colors, each of which corresponds to a different function. Blue is the air conditioning system, yellow - electric, red - heat and water supply is green.

The top three floors of the building is the Museum of Modern Art, which includes a special section for children (from 6 years old).
