Citadel Park is the largest park in Poznan. It is located between the Szelągowska, Za Cytadelą and Armii Poznan streets.

For years is has been a favorite walking place of the inhabitants. Here you can ride a bike or skate, as well as sit on one of the benches or lie on the grass in the summer. A cool, green place also ideal for jogging or for long walks with the dog.

In the park there are also the Armory Museum and the Museum of Poznan Army, as well as fortress objects: Ravelin I, Reduta (Redoubt) I, North Gate (Field) , Bastion II , the Wharf of the Little and Great Sluices .

There is also a modern open-air gym here, a playground, a toboggan run, a rose garden, the remains of a summer theatre, and the so-called "Abakans" the installation of 112 sculptures by Magdalena Abakanowicz, the renowned Polish sculptor, made ​​to celebrate the 750th anniversary of Poznan.

Citadel means also graves and monuments - including: Napoleonic soldiers, scouts , soldiers from World War I, soldiers of the Aviation Regiment of  Ławica, citadellists, as well as victims of the June '56 in Poznań. 

At the Citadel various cultural and sports events are being held throughout the year.
