Demänovská ice cave is one of the most famous caves in Slovakia.

Originally called the Dragon Cave. The total length of the cave is 1.9 km, available for tourists are only 540 m to the characteristic of that cave are amazing forms of ice, ice stalagmites and stalactites, which are formed due to melting snow in the spring and the penetration of water through limestone, which freezes and creates these beautiful sculptures.

If you plan to visit the cave, you should stock up on warm clothing as temperature inside is only about 1-5 ° C. The tour lasts about 45 minutes.

Open from mid-May to the end of September, from Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-16:00, Mondays cave is closed

7 €, students upon identification: 6 €
Tickets children:
3,50 €
