Eisriesenwelt Ice Cave is located in the Salzburg Alps, with the entrance hole at the height of 1641 m above sea level

Eisriesenwelt is the world's largest natural limestone cave, consisting of many chambers, filled with with ice during the whole year. The temperature inside does not exceed 0°C, and therefore the water leaking through the rock gaps immediately freezes. The total length of the caves is 42 km.

Walking takes place with a guide, each participant receives a mining lamp.

When planning a trip to the interior of the caves, you must obtain warm clothing for children and caps and gloves plus warm, comfortable shoes.
