Gdynia's aquarium is a place surrounded by sea on all sides. It has the status of the zoo, which is divided into four habitats occurring in the world: coral reefs, ocean depths, dense tropical Amazon Basin and the Baltic Sea.

Presented specimens can be admired on three floors of the building.

On the ground floor there is a touch tank that is sure to appeal to children. Here you'll fine grandmother's bull, the Baltic sturgeon and flatfish. Anyone can check and convince himself which fish is rough, and which is smooth.

Nearby there's a room called Amazon. We will see in it both animals and vegetation of South America. There are green anacondas, predatory silver arowanas, arapaimomas, red piranhas, stingrays and freshwater Metynnis hypsauchen.

On the first floor you can admire the largest living coral reef in Poland, and among her giant clams, sea cucumbers, starfish, colorful and very popular clownfish (esp. for children), lionfish, blowfish, damselfish, batfish, and thorntail and butterfly fish, moray eels, seahorses.

On the same floor there is also a dark room world of aquatic animals that inhabit the cold depths of the ocean, and Indopacific and Atlantic waters and the Baltic Sea.

Here we stand face to face with a blackflippered shark reef , giant octopus, selenas, Atlantic horseshoe crab, marble sharks a well-known codfish, flatfish, carp, whitefish, sturgeons and European eel.

The second floor is hall "at the interface between water and land" on which there are fish and reptiles. A water tank with electric eels is of great interest. We can also admire a fish called lungfish and living in the wild only in Mexico the axolotls. There are also dwarf crocodiles, Chinese softshell turtles and common snapping turtles.

On the second and third floor you'll find additional exhibitions.
