Located near Łódź, this ski slope with good facilities is probably one of the best slopes reachable quickly also from Warsaw. The distance from the capital city is only around 170 kms.
For winter sports' lovers three slopes and three lifts are available here - quadruple chairlift and two plain ski lifts. Slope length is 760 meters, and the vertical drop is 123 meters. The trails are well maintained and groomed. At their website you can see as well an online webcam preview, giving the opportunity to get an overview of the situation on the slopes beforehand. There are also dining and accommodation options here, in case someone wants to spend a ski weekend.
A ski school and ski equipment rental are also available.
An interesting fact is, that the mountain was created by accumulation of waste from the nearby Bełchatów power plant.
In the summer the mountain acts as a vantage point and a downhill race paradise.
