The museum is housed in the historic interior of the Great Synagogue from 1642, and the Talmudic House.
The museum currently shows more than 3,200 exhibits, which are part of the permanent exhibition.
And so, in the synagogue, which is the second largest synagogue in Poland, you can see: Rabbi room with equipment, inside the synagogue and the Passover Seder - a festive supper, beginning one of the major Jewish holidays - the Passover.
At the Talmudic house the visitors can see the valuable Glogerowski Cabinet exhibits, among others: obituary notices, handwritten cards, copperplate puzzles, found during archaeological research in Podlasie and western Lithuania and many others.
Inside the arranged pharmacy we can admire the fittings from an old pharmacy, utensils used by pharmacists, books, photographs and documents.
In the noble living room you can see the painting galleries of Zygmunt Bujnowski.
