Lazienki in Warsaw is the palace and park complex, founded in the eighteenth century by King Stanislaw August Poniatowski.

It is the favorite place for walks for Warsaw citizens, and number of cultural and entertainment events are held here, such as free music concerts (held in the summer at the foot of the Chopin monument) and numerous exhibitions.

Especially on weekends many people are walking here. Kids love this place, because you can find colorful peacocks, red agile squirrels or watch the swans or ducks. Therefore, "a small stroller set" you should bring food for the animals. The children will appreciate the treats of Lazienki: ice cream, waffles and other sweets.

Highlights include: Palace on Water, Myslenice Palace, the White House, Old Orangery, Podchorążówka, Amphitheatre, Palm House and pavilions.

You should also pay a visit to the nearby Botanic Gardens of the University of Warsaw.

In the park it's not allowed to ride bicycles, roller skates or skateboards.
