The Dam on the Lomnica river is built of granite blocks. It's crown has a length of approximately 105 meters and is open to pedestrian traffic.

Due to its location the dam can be seen from above, from its crown, or you can go down the stairs and watch the falling water collected in the tank.

Nearby is a small park with animals made of metal, which - like the dam - certainly appeal to children.

Dam on Lomnica River was built between 1910 - 1915 after a series of devastating rains and floods in 1897. It is worth noting that Lomnica is one of the most dangerous rivers in the Giant Mountains.
