Only 60 miles northeast of Prague you'lll find the Baroque castle of Loučeň.
In the castle gardens there is the only Labiryntarium in the Czech Republic. It consists of eleven mazes, composed into a landscape park, designed in English style. Winding 'corridors' are made of different materials. There are plant mazes (boxwood, yew and made of grass) and stone labyrinths (clay, stone, and formed of sandstone). There are also mazes of light, ropes and a palisade. The largest maze (yew) is 1450 sqm in size.
Within the complex there are as well a hotel and a restaurant. For families with children special accommodation packages are offered.
