The Prague Sea World (Czech: "Morský svět") is the largest salt water aquarium in the Czech Republic (100 000 liters capacity) with a 8-meter-high glass wall for the audience.
During the visit, one can see different sized aquariums and tanks with grateful names: reef cave, floor projection, cosmic lagoon. Various water creatures live here, among others: whitetip and blacktip sharks, clownfish, piranhas, lionfish, moray eels, seahorses, turtles and crabs.
Good to know:
- A drawback of this place is that some aquariums are far too high, which is a big problem especially for the youngest children. And for their parents who have kids to keep on their hands.
- In the zoo there is also a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs such as shark teeth and shells from around the world.
- If time permits, enjoy a walk in the nearby Stromovka park .
