Ojców Castle is one of must see fortresses when following the Eagles' Nests Trail.
The castle was built by King Casimir the Great of Poland in the second half of the fourteenth century. Unfortunately, today we can see only its ruins.
To the present day, preserved in perfect condition is the gate tower, the remains of the city walls, and the octagonal stone tower and courtyard.
The castle ruins provide stunning views across the valley of the Prądnik river.
