Salt Mine in Bochnia is the oldest salt mine in Poland.

The tourist route leads through the most beautiful and interesting pits located at a depth of 176 and 223 m, where we see unique chambers, chapels decorated with sculptures and paintings as well as old tools and mining equipment.

The visitors can see the world's only underground multimedia exhibition, which is in a way a time travel. Tour ends in the Chamber Ważyn, where there is a playground, a 140 m long water slide, mini playground for children as well as a souvenir shop and a restaurant.

Walking takes place accompanied by a guide.

The temperature inside is 14-16 ° C, humidity 70%, so when planning the tour of the mine plan to stock up on warm clothing (especially for children), and full comfortable athletic shoes.
