Bridge on Słudwia is located in Maurzyce near Łowicz. It is the world's first welded road bridge.
It is 27 m long and 6.8 m wide and weighs 56 tons.
It was a part of the old European E8 route (currently the national road 92). In 1977 it was moved about 20 meters to the north, and on its former location a new, larger bridge has been built. The old bridge has been newly renovated in 2009 and is open to the public.
The property has great historical value esp. due to engineering and technology, and thus acquired the status of a monument.
