The Blacksmithing Museum is located on the top of an Arian Tower from the sixteenth century.
The visitors can see here more than 1000 exhibits of blacksmith art. You can also find out here how in the old days forge looked like, see the hearth, bellows, or sharpening of an ax on a hand grinder.
Children will be interested in the tools used for blacksmith work.
During the visit you can see as well:
- playing blacksmith march on the anvil
- horseshoe IQ test
- visit to the section of agricultural tools and horseshoes for horses and cattle
- explore the collection of replica of medieval weapons
- exposition of artistic blacksmiths art from Poland and abroad (a large collection of crosses, chandeliers, and wrought iron aquarium, a fruit platter made by a woman, an iron chastity belt)
The visit at the museum ends with "The Legend of the lucky horseshoe" - a colorful story for everyone: both older and younger.
