The Asterix Park is located 38 km north of Paris.
It is divided into several regions:
- Gallic village,
- The Roman Empire
- Ancient Greece,
- Travel back in time.
The main street is called Via Antiqua. Walking along you will visit one of the many shops or enjoy a meal in a restaurant. Here you can see the buildings from different regions of the Roman Empire. Asterix, Obelix and Panoramix hosts are, of course the park hosts, but you can meet here other heroes as well.
In the land of the Gauls, you can test a magic potion or Splash from 11 meters (Le Grand Splatch).
In the Roman Empire, you can enlist in the Legion or board a small boat (Romus et Rapidus). In the section on Ancient Greece dancing dolphins are fun for the kids (and adults) , or a meeting with the seven-headed hydra (Hydra de L'Lern). And at La Riviere d'Elis you can meet other mythological creatures. In this section there is also a great roller coaster with a 30-meter back (growth - min. 120cm) called by the name Thunder of Zeus (Tonnerre de Zeus).
And where the Vikings live, older children (at least 140cm tall) - Goudurix - the Ferris wheel is awaiting, speeding at a speed of 75km / h, performing upside down turns or ... the galleys (galley).
The park has many attractions, but you must remember that many of them have age restrictions (many attractions are allowed from 6 years and above) and the limits of growth (from 120cm or 140cm).
In the park you can see many theater shows (Panoramix Theatre), circus performances and cabaret artists.
