Bellewaerde is the oldest amusement park in Belgium, opened in 1954, the name comes from the name of an old castle located near the main entrance.
Originally, the park consisted only of the zoo and safari and was later extended to a theme park in which both toddlers and older children can have a great time .
The park is divided into a family area, water attractions, thrills and kids' attractions. There are numerous rides, rollercoasters, park trains, the Houdini Magic House, an internal playground, a 4D cinema and much more.
An important role in the park is played by nature and pets living here, such as wild lions, giraffes, alpacas, monkeys, tigers and exotic birds, which can all be seen here.
