Caerphilly Castle is the largest castle in Wales, one of the largest in the UK and the second largest in Europe.
Surrounded by a moat and small islands as well as the beautiful, well-kept green areas with a lot of benches and picnic tables, which makes it an ideal place to relax.
During the tour of the castle you can see the exhibition located in the Great Hall and the remains of the siege weapons and castle mill, which was originally powered by water from the dam. A characteristic feature of the castle is the leaning tower.
The legend of the Green Lady, who supposedly haunts the castle is related to the Caerphilly castle.
Next to the castle's entrance there are souvenir booths and parking.
