Carpigiani Gelato Museum is the very first museum world's ice-cream museum. A visit here is a link of the pleasant and the useful.

During this visit we will get to know the story of the extraordinary ice cream, which dates back to 1800 BC, when allegedly snow has been used in Mesopotamia for chilling drinks. Among the exhibits in a hall spreading over an area of about one thousand square meters, are more than 20 original machines used in the manufacturing of this delicacy, which usually makes us think of vacation; unique tools and accessories from the most primitive to the most modern and  historical documents; more than 10 thousand photographs showing the development of the  industry and a multimedia exhibition.

However, the most fun to both kids and adults are the tastings of cold desserts created here.
