Experymentarium

Experymentarium is the only interactive education facilility in the Łódź region. It is located on the first floor of the famous Manufaktura centre.

The exhibition beginns with a walk on the 6-meter long metal walkway, which is placed inside a spinning tunnel space called Vortex. Although there are only a few steps to take, for many people esp. those having problems with the labyrinth, this might not be a piece of cake. The feeling is quite strange, when everything around us is spinning and it's hard to keep your balance. But its all a sensual illusion.

The rest of the exhibition includes interactive devices. Some are seemingly simple, others are more complex, but they all have one thing in common - to make them work, you need to touch, push, twist, or simply try them out. And that is definitely a plus. Many of these items in a fairly simple and understandable way (especially for children) is able to demonstrate a lot of physical every day phenomena.

The space for visitors is quite large and shaded, although the amount of exhibits is not enough, and unfortunately not all are working and the price of entry is far too high in relation to the quantity and quality of attractions.
