Linnaeushof, according to its own data, the largest playground in Europe, is located in Bennebroek, near Haarlem. Actually, it's something between a playground and an amusement park - there is actually quite a lot of attraction here, not just those located under the open sky - there is as well a roofed section providing many ideas for spending the leisure time (eg electric cars). The park was previously a botanical garden, where the famous botanist Carl Linnaeus worked.

The Linnaeushof itself exists in its current form for over 50 years and offers over 350 attractions - from the traditional devices, as seen on  other playgrounds (eg giant sandbox), through sports and water fun (eg water slides). There is also a large section of equipment intended for children on wheelchairs.

There are regular musical shows held which can appeal not only to the youngest visitors.
