Tolk Schau is a family theme park, built in the sixties by converting a fairytale forest, which was a local attraction, and therefore it is still locally called the "fairy tale park".
On the open area of over 30 hectares, there is a lot of activities for all age groups. In addition to traditional roller coasters, water slides and roundabouts we can find a mini museum where you can see about 15 locomotives and 70 different types of transport trucks. There is also a miniature park featuring miniature most important and interesting buildings of the town of Schleswig. For all dinomaniacs there is a jurassic park, with more than 100 prehistoric animals of different sizes.
The park also offers a 50-seat grill, which you can use for an extra fee (11 €).
