Tropenmuseum is one of Europe's leading ethnographic museums. There are over 250 thousand exhibits from around the world here. You can see here great educational exhibits from Southeast Asia, Oceania, Africa and Latin America.

There are also exhibitions designed specifically for children. The World Tree offers activities for children aged 4 to 8 years, so that your children can visit their peers from around the world (available in English) and learn about their culture.

The Tropenmuseum Junior is designed for children from 6 to 13 years. It includes interactive exhibits, unfortunately, is mainly focused on children from Dutch schools, and less on tourists from abroad. In addition to the traditional museum exhibits there are also multimedia presentations, music and temporary exhibitions.
