Right next to the Lüneburger Heide nature reserve a wildlife park has been established. We will see here lots of rare species such as arctic foxes, musk, Kodiak bears, brown bears, mountain goats, elk, lynx, gray wolves and rare domestic animals such as donkeys and Girgentana Poitou goats.

A great convenience for parents but also a lot of fun for kids is the option to rent a wooden cart, in which children can be transported.

In the park there are vending machines with food for herbivores and carnivores, which is safe to be given to the animals.

A big attraction for the whole family is the ablility to move directly around the animals in the free-range areas.

At specific hours birds of prey flight demonstrations are being held, when the birds literally fly verly close over the heads of the audience.
