Zoo Safari Dvůr Králové

The Zoo was founded in the former private park overlooking the beautiful building - a copy of a Renaissance castle, located near Vienna.

Given the vast number of animal species is the largest zoo in the Czech Republic it  is one of the most interesting in Europe. Therefore, when choosing a visit there, you should book the whole day.

What is important, especially for small children's feet, the zoo can be visited with a cog railway (extra fee). The garden is unique primarily because of its African Safari with open paddocks for the African ungulates.

In addition, the zoo there is a Jurassic Park, Water World, World of Birds, Flamingos' House and many others. A big attraction is the Okapi House. Among the collection of animals are some truly unique ones, not only Europe, but even in the world.

Children will see, among others okapis (in Europe only 53 pieces of these beautiful animals are living in zoos, and the world - 140). The ZOO is designed for children - you can touch and stroke almost all animals that do not harm (for example, you can stroke the okapi).

At the zoo there's is a hotel, camping and gift shop. Staff speaks foreign languages.
